Description
Guadalquivir River and Triana Bridge Puente de Isabel II - Quintessential Seville Andalusia Spain
This is the oldest bridge in Seville, “Puente de Isabel II” also known as “Puente de Triana”, which connects the historic center with the lively Triana neighborhood across the river. The graceful iron arch bridge was built in 1852, during the reign of queen Isabella II of Spain, and offers a fabulous panoramic walk from El Barrio de Santa Cruz (The Holy Cross neighborhood) in the Old Town (Casco Antiguo) to the "Heart of Flamenco" in Triana with great views of both riverbanks.
