This cool 222 years old solar clock - Meridiana Monumentale del Palazzo della Ragione in Italian - shows the time of local noon, plus 15 minutes before and after, and also day and month of the year, and the zodiac sign for the current position of the sun. When the sun is shining, of course :). You can find it under Palazzo della Ragione arcade when crossing between Piazza Vecchia and Piazza Duomo. Behind the arcade you can see the elaborate entrances of Cappella Colleoni (Bartolomeo Colleoni Chapel), Cattedrale di Sant'Alessandro (Saint Alexander of Bergamo cathedral), and Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore (Basilica of Saint Mary Major)
